12 V Power Inverter

A popular type of power inverter is one that takes 12 volt DC power and converts it to 110v AC power.  These are usually much smaller versions of power inverters, and they can weight as little as one pound.

The 12 Vpower inverter can be as simple as a small, easy to travel with type that can run from 100 watts continuous, 200 watts peak power, and they can get as large as 40 pounds in some cases, and run 6,000 watts continuous to 12,000 peak power.  Prices can start at $19.99 for the smaller type of inverter, and go north of $600 for some of the larger, more powerful type of inverters.
