400 Watt Power Inverter

Another power inverter model I will be discussing is the 400 watt power inverter.

Power inverters of 400 watt power are in demand because they have the ability to run multiple items at the same time.  As a general rule of thumb, if you have a two-outlet inverter and will be plugging in 2 devices at once, add up the total wattage of both devices then add at least 50% more to account for peaks or spikes in the power draw.

As an example, if your portable DVD Player draws 100 watts and your laptop draws another 100 watts, a minimum 300-watt inverter is recommended.  For this example, the 400 watt power inverter would be a good fit for what you are looking to do.
